A little bit of history…

In 1990 Alinda immigrated with her family from Holland to Canada.

Alinda has an agricultural background, growing up on a dairy farm and working summer jobs at chicken and pig farms. After graduating Humber College in 1994 with a diploma in Horse Studies, Alinda worked as a show jumping groom for 3 years, a job that took her across the world including the 1995 Pan Am Games in Buenos Aires and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. After 3 years of grooming Alinda managed the barn for 2 more years.

In 2001, after working at a vet clinic for 2 years, Alinda was looking for a career change. When she heard about the profession of Appraiser she thought it sounded good, signed up and was taking the first course towards her new career 2 weeks later.
